Mini Jumbo Guitar Reviews

9ICE good game and ASA
Ladies and gentlemen, we are gathered here today to join this man, Abolore 9ice Adegbola aka Akande and this woman, aka Asa Bukola Elemide in holy matrimony. If anyman, woman, boy, girl or hacker has a reason why this man and woman should not be joined in holy matrimony, other than the fact that the groom is already married … leave him alone, he or she speaks now or forever hold his, his peace. Good! Since individual otherwise, as the best man-woman, I would like to toast while I tell you why these two are a good match … Waste not … that! A match perfect.
Adegbola Akande aka 9ice Abolore was born January 17, 1980. It is south-west of Ogbomoso in Oyo State, but grew up in the neighborhood to Bariga Lagos. 9ice attended primary school in Abeokuta and CMS Grammar School, and abandoned his law course at the University of the State of Lagos to concentrate on music. (Na Wa O!) He grew up in a polygamous household of five women and nine children. His parents found his singing career a year after began around 2000. Before that, 9ice writing her own songs dating from when he was just 14 years. It should be noted that, as a big fan of Pasuma Wonder, he suddenly he sent his career singing with music Fuji. There is also a big fan of Obesere, popularly known as Oba Alashakasha – the king of sleaze Fuji music Nigeria.
9ice style was largely influenced by his 75-year grandmother who taught him everything he claimed he came to know culture and use of language of Yoruba. In his words, "she said almost nothing without the help of proverbs or anecdotes to drive home his points. So when I tried to be creative with my music, I was thinking of doing something different and that is why I use the word Yoruba in the bottom of my songs … .
9ice is known for his use of Yoruba language in his music. non-Yoruba listeners may be excluded from his music. It seeks to maintain a balance between maintaining a fan base larger and maintaining its originality. 9ice compares to Youssou N'Dour, who won two Grammys for recorded music in his mother tongue, and Yvonne Chaka-Chaka, whose music has also adopted its language. He was quoted as saying the English Language has been imposed on us, but God has graciously given us the Yoruba language. "9ice also played live in Cyprus in the garden where many Lions if all students Nigeria, where attendance.
Bukola Elemide aka Asa (Asha) on the other hand was born in Paris, France to Nigerian parents. She was two years when his family returned to live in Nigeria. A? Grew up in Lagos in the southwest part of Nigeria. Twenty years later A? Returned to Paris, where his artistic life took wing. A? At twelve years old when his mother sent him to one of the best schools in Nigeria. But education excellence has a bitter taste: five years of study and difficulties. When she returned, she discovered Erykah Badu, D'Angelo, Raphael Saadiq, Lauryn Hill, Femi Kuti and Angelique Kidjo, whose fingerprints in her dream to follow. At 18, Asa was very familiar with the frustration. The university was on strike, the choirs were snubbing her. During these times frustrating, Asa used to shut himself in his room and sing what she said was very comforting. Nevertheless, she managed to hear his voice on several radio shows and talent first applause brought her boundless pleasure. She then signed in secret, for school in the King Peter of music and learned to play guitar in 6 months.
A? Was the only girl in the family and had to share his parents with his three brothers. At a tender age, she began to look after the house while her father and frequent absences mother. Then A? Began to sing. The desire to sing came to her and did not go away, carving out a permanent place in his soul. Rather than talk about it, improvise constantly until his mother made him stop. Over the years his father had been a fine collection Documents featuring soul classics and Nigerian music, including Marvin Gaye, Fela Kuti, Bob Marley, Aretha Franklin, Sunny Ade, Ebenezer Obey and Lagbaja and then it inspire. A? Said: "I was a tomboy and when I was a teenager, I became very shy because people made fun of me … my way, I was already attracting attention! I used to never do anything like everyone else. People did not my deep voice deep choirs will have nothing to do with me. I had to go to church first if I had a chance to approach the "Mike.
In 2004, a? Met her manager and friend, Janet, who introduced him to Cobhams Emmanuel Asuquo, which in turn became her musical partner and producer. It helped to A? A free spirit, and finding his bearings: songs in English and Yoruba, music somewhere between pop and soul, inspired by her musical heritage – with particular attention paid to the melodies – and reflecting the feeling she puts into it. His lyrics speak of his country, things in his life and in life in general, all delivered with feigned naivety and real irony. She says "I like writing or thinking to my texts on the bus, or codfish, as we call it. 49 seats, 99 passengers standing up, as Fela described it. Everyone is up crushed set and mini-dramas erupt at any time. And at the end of the day, we still manage to laugh, this is where our strength is … "It at this stage of his life that A? eventually returned to Paris. This was his chance to test his talent on the French music scene,
Now that we have obtained spent their biographies, we will descend to the consideration of what motivates them as a couple.
APPEARANCE
Now the first thing many about this couple here, is their absolute contempt for the modern fashion and the latest trends … simply put … bling bling. For me, bling bling is more that cheap money and ice that many of these artists try to haul around deceiving people that they live so that the GoodLife Indeed, it is either borrowed or they are down right broke after hawking their effects while to feel at. For me, Bling Bling is held, arrogance, talk and walk just crying out to you drop what you are doing and pay attention.
Now, I had my eye on these two for some time and, although recent 9ice was furious attempts to match its counterparts like D'Banj, P Square, Olu Maintain KC Phresh fashionable … wait … reflection, you can skip the last two names. You know, sometimes I think these guys record albums just for people blind to all that jewelry and oppress the public with how they can price clothing stores and for KC Phresh, what is up with all these colors? That is wrong my vision (strabismus). Anyway … Back to 9ice. Lately, he has tried to match his style of his popularity, fame and fortune, but as people say you can get the man out of the hood, but you must be crazy to think you can get the hood of man. There is nothing wrong with a little credibility 9ice street, be yourself. You may not be as flashy as extravagant and unreasonable Olu Maintain (in rolling eyes) or the color blind fool riparian KC Phresh, take your cue from Tuface I am me, I'm a let you do "… "Ko photocopy easy. Look Asa how naturally! Asa is probably one of those girls who enter a showroom, fashion poncho see on the screen and ask case of a caftan or something and she would not be disturbed on the response she'd get.
Asa is not really a fan of cosmetics. Trust me on this one. The only time you will probably find Asa wore no makeup is when she has a meeting photo, a video shoot or a good show really important. I tell you, if she had a date to Burger King … Oops Sorry if it was some shitter Amala with Uncle and not the uncle and I mean that in a respectful manner, it would not bother with such trivialities. I watched on CNN a while and I …???? The chick looked like a missionary. But then I got to realize that whatever fears of Asa his shoes (which are anything but pumps and neighborhoods) are simply not complicated. 9ice This should be very, very, very happy. At least he will not shoot him the solicitation for the shows to make this cheddar extra to change her wardrobe every second. It is quite lucky and should thank us for what we are not matching with Goldie.
fashion and trends aside, you will notice that both Asa and 9ice are not over weight … wait a minute … they are even weight, and over weight. They are elegantly LEPA. This means they look hungry, but they are not. So I guess 9ice will not have to worry about breaking his back while carrying on the threshold. Hmm … and here I was thinking about pairing up with him Lepacious Bose. They are a great couple. Asa and 9ice I mean. Come Pity the guy you want?
CAREERS
These two crooners have had a remarkable year. 2008 has been earmarked them from above. It was like magic or what we Africans like to call Jazz. One moment, they were not there, the other, they were being played in every house, event, office … and so on. There were no nominations received they have not won. They both easily won the heart of the Nigerian people and the two were almost immediately recognized and celebrated by the international public. They are both brilliant songwriters … it would be a bonus added to their love life and initial court. If 9ice never missed a few Bibanke "Asa must put right.
They are both good at what they do and both had suffered and endured the pain of rejection professionals before hitting it big. This will certainly a major cause of the strong binding. Some people say that Asa insists his condescension local dialect in a number of his songs, even if it is based obodoyinbo to run a label and Touring oyinbo land oyinbo first time before his own because she can not compete with major players in the Western world in terms of music, they are currently operating in. In other words, it simply can not keep up, so if in case all else fails, do something for the people of Nigeria if ever you find there. Well, it's a bit below the belt do not you think? My response to these allegations is … "Never heard of originality? If everyone has always tried to be like Beyonce, music to be a dull thing to participate and we all probably buy the 9mm weapons on the counter to blow our brains out. Asa is good … virtually flawless the way it is. Did I mention that I know it? Yes … we both attended the same school. My sister used to braid her hair when she held due to too Math. Just kidding.
A? A song featured in the Eye Adaba third episode of series 3 of the E4 television show of adolescence, Skins, in which young Congolese Thomas is forced to return to the Congo from Bristol, where he lived in a flat belonging to Johnny White, and made new friends in Pandora, Effy and the rest of the distribution. The song is used for the scene where Thomas is said to be his suitcases by his mother and he is upset have to leave. She has played with artists such as the Nubians, Manu Dibango, Doctor L, Tony Allen.
Meanwhile, back in Nigeria, his first single, Eye Adaba, then Jailer, began to get airtime. MTV chose him as ambassador to South Africa. Its popularity has grown up, when she returned to Nigeria, she opened for Akon, John Legend, Beyoncé and Snoop Dogg among others.
9ice as ASA also had the opportunity and privilege to play before an international audience and to be associated with world renowned personalities and celebrities. He played on the anniversary Nelson Mandela tribute concert 90th (singing "Gongo Aso") in London on June 27, 2008.
In March 2008 edition of the World Hip Hop Awards which held in Nigeria, 9ice won the Newcomer of the Year and Best Male Vocal Performer. A month later at the first Soundcity Video Music Awards 9ice has been nominated in the category of Best New Artist. 9ice largest single is titled "Gongo Aso".
Since late 2007, 9ice has figured prominently in Nigerian campuses in Soundcity / Tours MTN Campus Blast. In 2008, he won the MOBO Awards for Best African Act. The witnesses same year he who walks away with the MTV Africa Music Awards for Best HipHop.
Now my only parish with this particular aspect of this couple union is that, unlike Asa, who is captivating on stage with her innocent folk genre, style and presence, 9ice has absolutely no presence on stage and his performances are often predictable, dull and mundane. Really! You will see people screaming their butts out of the song and not him. How lame is that? Hey … Do not get me wrong, I love the music dude. I must have been one of the first 50 people to have bought his album right? I a fervent admirer. So believe me, there is absolutely no beef for this guy. I can not help but feel sad and ashamed of his act scene together. (Head Scratch), I especially do not get that move together jazz, as he does with his hand when he goes on stage. You all know what I mean and if you do not … I guess that jazz has worked after all. Come He has gained at the expense Hip Hop world. Can someone please help a sister and tell me what the hell does that mean? 9ice … really! You must do something about your performance on scene of men, if you do not want to keep Asa take home the lion's share of the rewards of your career.
Background and ETHNICITY
Both Asa 9ice and from the western part of the country which will facilitate the integration of the two families. Both artists are also extremely PRO-African. When fell on the stage, spreading 9ice tried a little of the Yoruba traditional dress, and I guess it worked well for him until the factor bling every entry into play. Hmm … (Scratch head) Do you all KC Phresh pay someone to make them look ridiculous and that the person could have been more visible on the use of all the colors? They are not going to pay you more money if that's what you think. Oops My bad … it is 9ice and right about Asa? Aaaaaaaaaaaarghhhh! FOCUS girl! Anyway, in the recently … ok … not too recently conducted Hip Hop World Awards, receiving the third prize, he gave his acceptance speech in Yoruba dialect, completely ignoring the rest of us who can neither speak nor understand to save our lives. Yet not too personal about it all, I just congratulate him for that, the brother is not ashamed of his roots. Well done! As Asa, the fact that it is based a million miles away from the other side of the ocean and it is still very much in contact with indigenous and traditional roots is amazing. I like that! Whatever you do, please do not use a stylist for the wedding KC Phresh ASO EBI … PLEASE!
Temperaments
Now, it's tough. One thing we both know is that they are very reserved and introverted … If you like big words. However, do not make the mistake of confusing something with the appearance of it. Perhaps I should rephrase, they both seem to be reserved or introverted, if you want big words. Yeah! That seems about right. Hmm … (Cons head was bleeding from scratches) the simplest Asa is that it will be really difficult for her to analyze. I mean, it really is so close yet so far. Child has not been around for some time and whenever it is, it is not for a long period and the time it is, is never when the right to do our analysis. She would not even all that time to give us and even if it did, there would still not enough time for us to spend time analyzing sound, then we would just need to find another time, which would be the right time, instead … (Turn head) did you you all this? Because I do not think I did.
Phew! Now, if you managed to get everything going gibberish, I heard from a vineyard near the Asa, who with her, you essentially what you see. She is pretty laid back and down to earth. It is the kind of person could wear slippers, bathrobes, cross the street to buy garrison soaked with Ewa gani unlike some of our screen divas have their steam faces, throw on a little … Well a lot of brown soil to hide imperfections and marks unattractive, their bloody lips and choke the entire neighborhood with their fragrance, buy an air freshener in the shop next door. Crazy huh? With the word Asa shows little maintenance. It is no doubt, the dream of most men when it comes to temperament.
Now, I can not speak of 9ice. I mean, he seems to have begun this way, but this little bird told by a reliable source that the boy fairy tale began the last serious step on toes with Thousands of shoes naira and bite the hand that feeds him once. Now, I do not know what … but as I said, it has been a trusted source. Regardless, there is a saying and you all know that this is true … "Women get the power. I'm sure it's something Asa can easily manage and if it is not just wrong, because the guitar is there for. Whack him hard in his sleep. That should knock some sense back into him.
Now, I do not know about you, but Asa and 9ice is certainly a good game, but if you do not think so write me at graye@goodlife.com.ng and let me know your opinion on these questions and you can air your views on our next good game later in the week Sammie Okposo and Cossy ORJIAKOR. Catch is online … Toodle!
Need help finding a good, solid guitar case for my Takamine.?
Takamine G Series Model # EG541C I was told it was a mini jumbo guitar by another few (good) guitarists. It is so difficult (For me) to find good arguments online because it's my first guitar and most sites do not provide measures of the business! I was wondering if anyone there with business experience and guitars know what I need to get. a price range of $ 65 - $ 250 is ideal for me. Thank you to everyone who gave advice!
I hate to say this, but I would not trust any website for this, (well, maybe Sweetwater?) Jumbo Mini is a very "Unusual" the guitar, not a normal form. I just started looking through local stores, and take it. He "Might" Install Dreadnought, but I'm not making guarantees. Sweetwater is one of very few sites I trust, (Guitar Center never / other musicians) they will try help find what you want, not what they want to get rid, they have a good representative of the same with real musicians, guitar center is a joke in Los Angeles, with the pros. http://www.sweetwater.com /
