Mark Vicente – 2009 Winner Got Talent is an extraordinary talent
Mark started singing when he was a child. His break came for the first time the 9 years old when his grandfather, Bruno Riccio, Mark heard singing along with recordings of Andrea Bocelli in the family Italian restaurant. Realizing he had all the characteristics a huge talent, Bruno bought singing lessons to the child. Soon after a series of lessons, Vincent had perfected his talent enough to begin performing.
His grandfather kept the promising young singer in various locations around Australia and as charity balls, markets and hospitals. Not only sing opera as a professional, could also give stellar performances in various popular genres such as swing and musical theater. Similar to Bocelli, who is also a crossover "artist, Mark is a versatile singer for those who transfer between different musical styles does not pose significant difficulties.
By the time he was 13, Mark felt he had enough experience to try for Australia's Got Talent. Encouraged by his family, especially his grandfather, he tested for 2007 season series. This is where a strange twist of fate occurred to her current success makes more dramatic. The producers were very impressed by the performance of Mark and assured him he would receive a call. He went home happy and full of anticipation. But as the weeks rolled and turned into months, no call came. Mark and his family could only shake his head in disappointment confusing. It simply made no sense, but there it was. It shelved the idea of the show in the short term.
There was also an event even sadder to deal with the grandfather, Mark died shortly after the 2007 hearing. This affected the child largely to the point that almost wanted to quit singing opera. But, realizing that his grandfather wants him to, he overcame his pain and continued practicing his art.
Two years later, Mark and his family decided they could not hurt to try again. Had matured and perhaps now the judges would do well to his promise of a return call. When contacted the producers of the program again, gave an unexpected – he had wanted to invite him again in 2007, but had lost his audition tape! They were very happy that he had contacted again and quickly put him to another audition.
Since the beginning of the season 2009, Mark Vincent was a strong contender. Was amazed at the number judges Red Symons, Grant Denyer, Dannii Minogue and Tom Burlison (and audiences) with her first audition on the screen, and assured him that there were strong chances of success. That has been the case, because he made the final.
Competing against a talent as a singer yet younger, 12 years old Joshua Jal, Mark Vincent awaited decision on the night the Grand Final. Vincent remembers the occasion: "There was a drum of paper, and My mind goes a million miles per hour, "Grant Denyer said:" The winner of Australia's Got Talent is Mark Vincent! Oh my God, my whole body relief. "
Shortly after the victory, Marcos performed on Australia's morning program Sunrise. The program host David Koch, has called for someone to live Set to a recording contract. Shortly after the Northern Irish group The Priests vocal Vicente invited to play with them in Sydney Entertainment Centre.
The contract recording soon after.
Lim Chong producer and arranger began working with Mark on his first album, entitled My Dream – Mio Visione. The album is eclectic, as might be expected given the portfolio of Vincent, ranging from classical opera (Nessun Dorma) to popular songs by Sinatra and Leonard Cohen (My way, and Hallelujah), the national anthem of Australia.
It seems fair to say that Mark Vincent has a bright and promising career ahead. He feels he owes much of his success to his beloved grandfather. In his own words: "Never forget my grandfather. It was the best thing that ever came into my life. He died last year, 12 months ago. I really do not want to continue my singing career because I was so upset. But then at the end I knew that I would not want me to stop. He would like me to continue. "
Sure it's a good thing he did.
